I was born in El Salvador and came to the United States when I was 14. Witnessing my own family struggle to understand and complete legal forms, propelled me into the non-profit work. It was during my time with the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County when I discovered my calling. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from San Francisco State University.
