About Me<\/strong><\/h2>\n\t
\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t

My name is\u00a0Evelin Sol\u00f3rzano<\/strong>\u00a0and I am\u00a0State-Certified Immigration Consultant<\/strong>,\u00a0Registered Legal Document Assistant<\/strong>\u00a0, and\u00a0Notary Public<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

I was born in\u00a0El Salvador<\/strong>\u00a0I came to the United States at the age of\u00a014-years old<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

About a year after my arrival, I remember that my mother tried to apply for the Temporary Protected Status (TPS)<\/strong>\u00a0for me. She asked me to help her translate the forms, but even though I translated each question into Spanish, she still found it difficult to understand what she needed to write.<\/p>\n

Later, we went to the\u00a0USCIS office in San Francisco<\/strong> to submit the application, but our forms were rejected and no one explained why.<\/p>\n

Eventually, my mother found a paralegal who helped us. I still remember asking her to let me stay while she corrected the documents and explained the changes, so I could learn.<\/p>\n

That early experience became the foundation of what I do today. Seeing my own family struggle to understand and complete legal forms inspired me to\u00a0dedicate my life to helping others navigate those same challenges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

That experience also motivated me to pursue a career in the legal field, and later I earned my\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Criminal Justice<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0San Francisco State University<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

I have over 30 years of experience in the legal field,<\/strong> including work assisting with immigration form preparation, and more than 11 years with the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County.<\/strong> It was there that I discovered my true calling: empowering individuals to overcome barriers and access justice with dignity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I often meet clients who come to me after trying to prepare their documents on their own, only to face rejections or delays. My work allows me to help them move forward with\u00a0trust, clarity, and compassion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
