Can I include my family in my application?

Yes. You may include your spouse and unmarried children under 21 years of age in the same application.

Can I work while I wait for a decision?

You may apply for a work permit (EAD) once 150 days have passed since USCIS received your application, as long as your case is still pending.

Can I travel outside the United States while my case is being processed?

Leaving the country without authorization may cancel your asylum application.
