Immigration Services

Is Eve’s Immigration Services a law office?

No. Eve is a State-Certified Immigration Consultant, authorized to provide non-legal assistance, assisting you in completing forms with the information you provide, gathering documents, and submitting the complete package on your behalf.

What does ‘non-legal assistance’ mean?

It means that we can help you fill out forms and organize your documents based on the information you provide to us.

We do not give legal advice, nor do we represent clients before USCIS or the courts.

What immigration services do you offer?

We offer assistance with a wide range of immigration procedures, including:

  • Family-Based Petitions
  • Adjustment of Status & Permanent Residence
  • Consular Process
  • Naturalization / Citizenship
  • DACA applications and renewals
  • FOIA Record Request
  • U Visa and Asylum (initial application only)
  • Parole in Place.

Do you work with clients outside of California?

Yes. We can assist you no matter which state you are in, as long as the process is regulated by USCIS or other federal agencies.

However, LDA and notarial services apply only within the state of California.

How long does an immigration process take?

According to USCIS, processing times vary depending on the type of case, service center, and individual circumstances. Our office cannot guarantee or predict exact processing times. For the most recent estimated times, visit the official USCIS website

Do the fees include the official immigration costs?

No. Eve’s Immigration Services’ fees cover only the professional assistance to prepare and organize your case.

The official USCIS or other agency fees (filing fees) must be paid separately to the government.

LDA Services (Legal Document Assistant)

What is an LDA?

A Legal Document Assistant (LDA) is a professional registered in the state of California who can prepare legal documents at the client’s request, but without providing legal advice or representation in court.

What LDA services do you offer?

We assist with:

  • Mutual Agreement Divorce
  • Legal Name Change
  • Estate Planning / Wills / Living Trusts in California
  • Clearing Criminal Records
  • Certified translations and notarizations.
  • Fingerprinting and background checks.

Communications and Confidentiality

Is all my information confidential?

Yes. Your information is kept completely private and protected under California’s confidentiality regulations.

Can I contact Eve directly?

Yes. Eve personally assists each client and can communicate by phone, email, or video call, depending on your preference.

Can I receive help if I don’t speak English?

Of course! All services are offered in English and Spanish, with clear explanations and full support throughout the process.

Payments and Policies

What payment methods are available?

We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, wire transfers, Venmo or Zelle.

A deposit must be made at the time of signing the service contract.

How long do you keep my documents?

We keep digital copies of your file for up to 3 years from the date the service is completed, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with state law.
