About Me

My name is Evelin Solórzano and I am State-Certified Immigration ConsultantRegistered Legal Document Assistant , and Notary Public.

I was born in El Salvador I came to the United States at the age of 14-years old.

About a year after my arrival, I remember that my mother tried to apply for the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for me. She asked me to help her translate the forms, but even though I translated each question into Spanish, she still found it difficult to understand what she needed to write.

Later, we went to the USCIS office in San Francisco to submit the application, but our forms were rejected and no one explained why.

Eventually, my mother found a paralegal who helped us. I still remember asking her to let me stay while she corrected the documents and explained the changes, so I could learn.

That early experience became the foundation of what I do today. Seeing my own family struggle to understand and complete legal forms inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others navigate those same challenges.

That experience also motivated me to pursue a career in the legal field, and later I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice at San Francisco State University.

I have over 30 years of experience in the legal field, including work assisting with immigration form preparation, and more than 11 years with the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County. It was there that I discovered my true calling: empowering individuals to overcome barriers and access justice with dignity.

I frequently meet clients who first attempted to prepare their documents on their own, only to encounter rejections or delays. My work allows me to help them move forward with trust, clarity, and compassion.
